Dear IPSC shooters,

To register for the next course or to receive further information, please contact: Jürgen Tegge

Here are a few more important pieces of information:

Safety and rule test IPSC handgun (basic license)

We require precise knowledge of all safety-relevant aspects of the IPSC sports regulations (BDS sports manual, part IPSC or IPSC), safe weapon handling and knowledge of the English commands.
(You can download the English-language set of rules from www.ipsc.org under "Rules", the German translation is available as a PDF file at www.ipsc.de / "Regelwerk")

Please bring the following on the day of the exam:
- BDS ID card with a valid insurance stamp
- WBK for the weapon used
- IPSC-compatible weapon (pistol only!) / 3 magazines
- Holsters, belts, magazine pouches, eye and ear protection (some of these things can also be purchased from me on the day of the event on tel / email request)
- Writing utensils

The examination fee of Euro 60.00 is to be paid to me in cash or transferred to the account “Landesverband 2 des BDS” IBAN DE88 2105 0170 1002 5410 09 with the note “SuRT ”.
If, contrary to expectations, someone fails the exam, they can repeat it at the next appointment without paying again!

The exam consists of an approximately 90-minute training and introductory presentation. A (multiple-choice) theory test of 43 questions must then be completed. The basis are all safety-relevant aspects of the BDS sports regulations / part of the IPSC.
Finally there is a practical test (about 30-50 shots).

The registration for the examination is binding because of the preparation of the examination documents and certificates and various other costs. If you have not already done so, I ask you to confirm your participation on the attached form and, if you are unable to attend, to cancel it in good time. In this case, the examination fee will not be refunded, but the examination can be rescheduled at another date if canceled in good time. However, SuRT appointments only take place irregularly and usually no more than 3 times a year.
