EMBA in General Management, focus on "International Management"

Admission requirements:
The following requirements are expected of the participants:

  • First degree from a university, ETH or university of applied sciences
  • Several years of management and leadership experience
  • Good knowledge of German and English

Tuition fee:

Installment payments:

  • CHF 10,000 (30 days after receipt of confirmation of admission)
  • CHF 15,000 (as of November 30, 2021)
  • CHF 20,000 (as of May 31, 2022)
  • CHF 20,000 (as of January 20, 2023)

The tuition fees include:

  • All courses
  • Comprehensive course documentation (including literature)
  • Exam fees
  • Refreshments for breaks during the course days
  • Lunch during the international modules

The tuition fees do not include:

  • Lunch during the course modules in Zurich
  • Flight costs for the international modules
  • Accommodation costs for the international modules
  • Travel and cancellation insurance for the international modules
  • Visa for stays abroad
  • Hardware for the course documents made available online

Early bird discounts:

  • Applications by December 31, 2020:
    CHF 6,000
  • Applications by February 28, 2021:
    CHF 3,000

Scholarships:

Thanks to targeted scholarships of up to CHF 10,000, the Executive MBA program at the University of Zurich achieves an even greater diversity of participants. Scholarships are awarded in particular to applicants with the following profiles:

  • Entrepreneurs
  • Executives of nonprofit organizations
  • Female leaders

Applications for scholarships must be submitted together with a letter of motivation (description of management experience, leadership journey or career development, reasons for financial support) and the regular application dossier. A committee decides on the award of the scholarships. No correspondence will be entered into about the procedure.

Insurance:

Insurance (accident, travel, cancellation insurance, etc.) during the entire program is the responsibility of the participants.

  • The closing date for entries is April 30, 2021 and June 30, 2021.

After receiving the confirmation of admission, you can withdraw from the program within ten days without incurring any costs. Thereafter, the entire tuition fees are considered to be owed. If you withdraw later, the tuition fees will not be refunded.
