What are some creative worlds

For our recipe of the year - or at least of the month - we choose our FIG PIZZA.

Those who dare to taste it will be rewarded with a special taste experience.

At first it might seem like the ingredients don't go together. My children thought too at first and wrinkled their noses.

But not for long. "Mmmmmhhh, fmeckt aufgetfeichnet!", for once they all agreed.

However, my family does not agree on whether the finished baked dough has to be topped with raw figs or whether the figs should be baked as well.

That's why we're going to introduce you to both variants.

We, that means my daughters and me. The girls were responsible for the photos. (I admit I'm a little ... um ... VERY proud of her !!!

For both variants you need a pizza dough that you either make yourself or buy ready-made if you don't have time.

The recipe for the pizza dough is very simple.

You need:

- Flour

- Salt

- 1/2 cube of yeast, dissolved in 3 dl lukewarm water

- olive oil

Mix all ingredients and knead for 10 minutes.

Let stand for 1 hour at room temperature before removing.

Option 1 with baked figs:

Preheat the oven (10 min at 180 ° C).

Now you roll out the dough, place it on a baking sheet and put it in the oven for 10 minutes before you cover the dough.

The pizza topping consists of:

- goat cheese

- halved fresh figs

Put the pizza in the oven again for 10 minutes.

Garnish with before serving

- some walnuts

- some fresh thyme.

Option 2 with raw figs:

Roll out the dough and place it in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for 20 minutes.

Let it cool down briefly and cover it with:

- some arugula

- Sbrinz

- halved fresh figs

- some honey

Which of the two variants do you prefer?
