German television will soon be delighted with the first broadcasts of two new US series. "Rush Hour" and the new edition of "MacGyver" are in the starting blocks on Sat.1.

Two new US series will soon see their German premieres on free TV. How Serial junkies reports, “Rush Hour” and the “MacGyver” reboot are to be let loose on the local audience.

It will start with “rush hour”. The series with Jon Foo and Justin Hires in the leading roles, which is based on the buddy comedies of the same name with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, is to be shown for the first time in Germany on June 12, 2017 at 10:15 pm on Sat.1. This means that the broadcast arrives at home with a long delay, because the broadcast was originally scheduled to start on September 18, 2016, but the date was then canceled. In any case, at the beginning a double sequence can be admired before it will continue as normal.

Just one week later, on June 19, 2017, the new edition of “MacGyver” will start with Lucas Till as the young version of the famous title hero. A double episode starts at 8:15 p.m. and, unlike "Rush Hour", this format is to be retained for the entire first season.

According to the report, Sat.1 will also continue broadcasting the second season of “Scorpion” with Robert Patrick from June 19, with a slot at 11:15 pm.
