What is a BBB Accredited Company

BBB accredited for wind measurements

Now even more "competence in wind energy"

BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH is now also accredited for wind measurements according to DIN ISO / IEC 17025: 2005. The corresponding certificate from the German Accreditation Service (DAkkS) has recently arrived. At the same time, the BBB accreditation for the area of "Determination of wind potential and energy yields from wind turbines" has been renewed. With immediate effect, the BBB is entitled to use the new DAkkS seal to advertise its high-quality services in these areas.

The above-mentioned accreditations document the particular care and accuracy with which BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH proceeds when collecting and handling the measurement data. Starting with the selection of measuring devices and data loggers, through data processing and management, to complete transparency and traceability in the calculations and forecasts: every step follows a strictly prescribed test procedure, the exact compliance of which is regularly audited.

For BBB customers this means first of all that they can place maximum trust in the resilience of the values determined on their behalf. This is of immense importance, because the wind measurements and the yield reports calculated from them are decisive factors for calculating the profitability and added value of a wind farm project. Inaccuracies of a few percentage points in the wind measurements have a direct effect on the results of the yield calculations and increase the risk for investments. It is therefore of great importance to rely on reliable partners right from the start of a project.
