Peach ice tea

A peach iced tea is absolutely great refreshment in summer. The do-it-yourself recipe is just terrific.

preparation

  1. Boil 800ml water and let the black tea bag steep for about 3 minutes. Let the tea cool down.
  2. Boil 200ml water in a separate saucepan with sugar. Wash and core the peaches, remove the skin and cut into cubes. Simmer the peach cubes in the sugar water for about 5 minutes. Then let it steep in the pot for another 45 minutes.
  3. Mix the peach juice including the peach cubes and black tea together. Then chill for at least 4 hours until the iced tea is ice cold.
  4. Wash the lemon and cut into thin slices before serving. Roughly chop the mint and stir in.
