My husband and I were glad we did this tour. Four hours is not too long. Costas kept us busy with his many stories about the gods. We walked about 4 miles but it didn't feel like it. There are ways to rest. The climb can be challenging and well worth it. Our group was a nice size of about 18 people. It made it easy to hear. We also enjoyed talking to the other tourists. We bought the combo ticket to enter the sites. The only downside to the ticket is that you won't be able to use it to enter the sites later. This is a great tour and we will be well worth your time.

perfect for me

Walking distance to all the sights, the very good explanations, the small group - perhaps the most perfect way to experience "old Athens". Attention: The booking does not include the entrance fee! That wasn't a problem at Easter because the lines in front of the cash registers weren't that long, but I imagine it to be difficult in the main season.

The guide (Kelly) was very good in telling the stories, which made the 4 hours pass by very quickly. I didn't want it to end. You do have to buy the entrance tickets to all the sites yourself (not included in the tour) which is 30 euros. So everything together it's almost 100 euros per person, which I think is quite expensive.
