Everyone knows that Windows 10 has a Start menu again. However, only a few people know that Windows 10 also has a hidden start menu. We'll show you how to open it.

Microsoft not only brought back the traditional Start menu in Windows 10, but also retained the so-called Quick Access Menu from Windows 8. The quick access menu is intended for power users who need quick and targeted access to certain Windows functions. But the hidden menu also offers advantages for normal users - you can, for example, start the Task Manager directly from here, access the Device Manager or open the power settings.

We'll show you three methods how to open the Quick Access menu:

1st method

The quick access menu is linked to the start menu and, like any other context menu in Windows 10, can be opened with a right-click. So all you have to do is right-click on the Windows button and you have all the quick accesses immediately.

2nd method

On Windows devices with a touchscreen, the quick access menu opens in a similar way. Touching the Windows button for one second has the same effect as right-clicking and immediately opens the menu.

3rd method

As usual with Windows, there is also a key combination for the quick access menu. Here, too, the quick accesses are linked to the normal start menu and can be opened by pressing the Windows key and the X key on the keyboard at the same time.
