NX1915 / TC 12.2

created on: 03. Jul. 2019 07:56   <-- editieren="" zitieren="" --="">   Submit unities:

Hello everybody,
For me, NX1872 does not start from TC12.1.

start "Teamcenter Integration for NX" / B "% UGII_BASE_DIR% \ NXBIN \ ugs_router.exe" -ugm -enable_cancel -version = V32.0% *
ERROR: Cannot connect to or start the application UG / Manager V32.0

If I determine the version with "% UGII_BASE_DIR% \ NXBIN \ env_print.exe" -v, it is V32.0.
So it should be right.

There is nothing in the ugs_router.syslog and there is no NX log file.

Has anyone tried NX1872 from TC?
I can start NX1872 natively.

Hello

I ran the 1872 Beta together with TC, the productive version has not yet been installed.

So it should work, but I am only sure when I have installed NX1872.

NX1915 / TC 12.2

Thanks for the information.

I suspect it is because I installed NX 1872 as a parallel installation with setup / a.

Do another test with the standard installation.

Problem solved.
If the program is installed with Steup.exe / a, starting from TC does not work.

Thats all folks ...

Teamcenter 11.3.0.1_a01
NX 11.0.2.7 MP6 (Prod)
NX 12.0.1.7 (test)

If you have installed NX as an administrative installation, then 2 registry entries that ugs_router.exe needs are missing.

With the two batch commands, the e.g. for NX 1926 are added.

reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Unigraphics Solutions \ Installed Applications" / v "Unigraphics V1926" / t REG_SZ / f / d "C: \ Siemens \ NX1926 \ NXBIN \ ugraf.exe"
reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ WOW6432Node \ Unigraphics Solutions \ Installed Applications" / v "Unigraphics V1926" / t REG_SZ / f / d "C: \ Siemens \ NX1926 \ NXBIN \ ugraf.exe"

Teamcenter NX1926 can then start via ugs_router.exe. The -version parameter must also be adapted to V1926 for this.

Moin, I'm a mechanical engineering student and a complete beginner with TC. I now have to connect my NX to TC, both provided by the university. I also installed NX via the setup because it did not work via the launcher.exe. But now I also get the error message that the UG manager is not getting a connection.
Do NX12 and TC11 use, how exactly does that work with the batch files? or where can you insert the command?

Thank you very much in advance!

I wonder why those at the university can't say what you should do ... but first NX, then TC must be installed, then the TC installation does the setup right away.
(assuming that a TC client is / has been installed locally including the required NX features and everything is simply operated as it is)
