Helps coconut oil with damaged hair

Coconut oil: miracle weapon for your beauty

Hardly any other product is currently as hyped as coconut oil. The fact that many celebrity ladies like Kylie Jenner, Gwyneth Paltrow or Miranda Kerr have also jumped on the bandwagon certainly contributes to the fame of the wonder oil. But even without a celebrity bonus, coconut oil is said to have so many positive effects that it replaces a whole range of beauty products in our household: make-up remover, toothpaste, body lotion, face cream, anti-pimple products, hand cream, hair masks and cures, even lip gloss and bath additives. The reason lies in the moisturizing properties of coconut oil. It should also have an antibacterial effect and protect against germs and fungi. No wonder that more and more people are so enthusiastic about the versatility of the white smear in the glass.

Coconut oil - the name is misleading at first because it has a firm consistency. Before using it, you should rub some coconut oil between your fingers. When it is warmed up, it becomes fluid and pliable. But now to its many possible uses:

Coconut oil is the hit for all stressed, damaged or flaky hair.

Against split ends and damaged hair

Coconut oil nourishes damaged hair with a lot of moisture. Massage it into your tips and lengths in the evening and leave it inside overnight. The next morning you simply wash it out again with shampoo. Used regularly, your hair will be nourished and shiny again. You can also massage it into your hair after washing your head. This also works against frizz at the same time. But use it sparingly, otherwise your hair will quickly look greasy instead of shiny.

Against dandruff

If you have dandruff, simply massage the coconut oil into your scalp three times a week before shampooing. Leave it on for half an hour. Then rinse off the excess coconut oil with plenty of water under the shower.

Coconut oil benefits the face primarily because of its moisturizing and antibacterial properties.

Against dry skin and pimples

Somehow it stands to reason that coconut oil cares for dry skin and makes it glow again. Here it is suitable for both day and night care. But anyone who suffers from pimples can also benefit from the fat if they apply it in the evening before going to bed. The active ingredients can develop really well overnight and, thanks to their antibacterial properties, make pimples disappear in the medium term. However, you should use coconut oil sparingly so that your skin can breathe easily. Otherwise the effect is unfortunately reversed into a negative.

Remove make-up effectively and gently

Coconut oil even removes waterproof make-up! To do this, you have to spread the coconut oil on your face with your hands and, above all, cover the eye area well with the fat. Then rub with a soft cotton pad and wash your face with lukewarm water.

For the lips

Once your lips are dry and chapped, a little coconut oil is enough. Rub it into your lips and take a deep breath - it smells like vacation! The coconut oil can also be wonderfully applied over lipstick. This ensures a glossy finish.

You already notice: If coconut oil is already a jack-of-all-trades for face and hair, what does it mean for the body?

Body lotion

In the future, save space in the bathroom for your huge tubes of body lotion: because you can confidently rub your body with coconut oil from top to bottom. Just rub some of it between your hands, warm it up and then spread it on your body. After showering, it gives you a great feeling on the skin. And by the way, it keeps your skin supple and elastic, which prevents stretch marks and wrinkles in the long term.

DIY peeling

Yes, that's right, you can easily do your own body peeling with coconut oil: Simply mix a sufficient amount of it with salt or sugar and then rub it into the parts of the body that need peeling. You can determine the degree of graininess of the peeling yourself by mixing in coarse-grained salt.

shaving cream

You don't have shaving cream on hand at the moment? No problem, just rub your legs or armpits generously with coconut oil and then shave as usual. You will be amazed at how good your skin feels afterwards!

Bath additive

What better way to relax in the bathtub than with a hint of vacation in your nose? Simply add about 150 grams of coconut oil to the bath water (a little more if required) and enjoy the scent that unfolds immediately!

If you are as enthusiastic about coconut oil as we are, we recommend investing a little more money in organic quality. In addition, the coconut oil must be native and cold-pressed. Have fun trying!
